Kazteleport Data Center

Reliable technological data center, built taking into account the best engineering approaches and practices. Uninterrupted operation of server and network equipment of clients is provided by two data centers (main and backup) located in Almaty and Astana. The data centers are built in accordance with international standards of reliability and meet all requirements for availability and security of server and telecommunication equipment.

The data center engineering infrastructure consists of two main systems

Data availability system

Data center power supply - built on the principle of double redundancy of power supply.
Data center cooling - built on the basis of at least three precision air conditioners.
Remote monitoring system - built on the availability of the possibility of constant control of all the main parameters of all subsystems in real time with sending notifications to e-mail.
Mechanical subsystem - includes raised floor system, cable management system, piping and ducting system, drainage system, antistatic coating, etc.

Data security system

Access control and management system is necessary to organize authorized access of employees to the premises of the data center
Security alarm system.
Fire alarm system.
Automatic gas fire extinguishing system.
Automatic system of gas-smoke mixture removal.
In accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, regular service works on preventive maintenance of engineering infrastructure equipment.

The power supply system is made according to the 2N scheme (double redundancy of components);
Power sources: 2 diesel-generator sets;
Supplies: 2 diesel-generator sets
Availability guarantee (SLA) in telecommunications is 99.93% and in data center is 99.97%.

Slabs withstand a load of 1500 kg per 1 square meter;
A natural air conditioning system free cooling to maintain optimal temperature in the halls;
Biometric access control system;
All entrances to the data center premises are logged in an electronic logbook;
Gas automatic fire extinguishing system.
