FTDS

FTDS (Fault-Tolerant Data Systems) are systems that are designed to ensure continuous availability of data even in the event of a failure of one of the components. Availability is achieved through redundancy.

FTDS Device
In FTDS systems, redundancy is implemented at various levels, including hardware, software, and information. It allows the system to continue functioning in the event of a failure. For example, if one of the hardware components fails, the system switches to a backup component. Similarly, data redundancy ensures that even if data is lost or corrupted, a backup copy will be available in one place.

FTDS compared to conventional data systems
Unlike conventional data processing systems, which can stop functioning in the event of a failure, FTDS are designed to eliminate failures without disrupting the system. They ensure that the system continues to operate with minimal failures and data integrity is maintained.

FTDS Application
FTDS play a key role in data management, especially in environments where data availability and integrity are critical. For example, in banking, healthcare and aviation.
