Both types of keyloggers are difficult to detect because they do not appear in the list of installed programs or in the computer’s task manager. Therefore, in most cases, the use of keyloggers is illegal, as it may violate human rights to privacy. In many countries, it is important to obtain the explicit consent of the user in order to use keyloggers for any purpose.
To protect against keyloggers, it is recommended to use strong passwords, not view confidential information on public devices, and use antivirus software capable of detecting and removing keyloggers. It is important to be careful when downloading software from unknown sources, as keyloggers may be hidden in seemingly harmless programs.
