Multi-tenancy (collective lease mode) is a software architecture in which a single instance of an application running on the provider’s server simultaneously works with several tenants (client companies). The public cloud service is based on this principle.
The collective lease mode is the opposite of an architecture consisting of a large number of elements, where a separate infrastructure for hosting software is created for each client company.
