Proxy server is an intermediate server between the client’s PC and a specific web resource. When using a proxy server, the request from the client PC to the web resource first goes to the proxy server, then it is processed and only after that it goes to the desired web server. The response from the web server first goes to the proxy server and is redirected to the user’s PC. This redirection scheme allows you to organize a simple policy of access to Internet resources and protection from external attacks.
